Woodland Fairy 2013

This page took alot of working with hues and contrast to get exactly how I wanted it. I was so inspired by the warm autumn colours in the Archiscraps comp I knew it would be perfect for this photo of my cousinette Violet - if only I could get the blending right. I'm really happy with the results. The photo was taken by Violet's very skilled photographer Auntie. I thought Violet reminded me so much of a wood sprite or fairy that I just had to put some wings on her!

  3. Truly beautiful work Kylie. I sometimes think paper scrappers don't fully realise just how much work creating something like this really is.

  7. Thank you for your lovely comments. Belinda - once you get "layers" under your belt then you can use almost any photoshop type software. There are plenty of tutorials out there, that would probably do a better job than me! Jane - yes, you're right, acceptance of digi scrapping is in its infancy in the scrapbooking community, however, hopefully I'm helping a bit with that. I always start a page from scratch, I never use templates, so it does take some time to put together a page, however, if I'm happy with it at the end then I don't really mind if others don't understand the angst involved in the process. This page was particularly challenging, but I got there in the end.
